About The Teacher

Welcome to FVHS Social Studies!  This will be my 13th year at FVHS and I love 
it!  GO BENGALS!  
We live in exciting political and economic times, and I hope to instill a 
love and respect for active citizenship in each student.
A little bit about myself:  I am married to my wonderful and crazy husband 
and we have one child, who started the 6th grade this year; we live in an old 
farmhouse in Johnston County that is very slowly being brought into the late 
20th century!  We have two dogs, and love to take them hiking, camping and 
kayaking in the summertime and any available weekend.  I love bicycling, 
reading, and gardening - and UNC Basketball - go TARHEELS!
