We took an Economics Quiz today on free trade.  We will be having small debates on the pros and cons of free trade tomorrow.  Students stock picks have been made and we are monitoring how they are doing.  Prizes will be awarded to the students with the highest return on thier investments.

This is how students final grade will be calculated:
1st Qtr: 17%
2nd qtr: 17%
Mid term exam: 7%
3rd qtr: 17%
4th qrt: 17%
Final EOC EXAM 25%

This all equals 100% and is what will be on the students transcript. This is also how every
class with a final EOC exam is calculated. Welcome to the world of high stakes testing where in
each EOC class two tests count for 32% of your child's grade.

Please encourage our students to keep this in mind,
work hard this quarter and to study for the all important EOC Exam.
ID's are due every Friday.
My after school tutoring days are Monday, Friday and select other days by
appointment. Students are also encouraged to eat their lunch in my room if they need extra help.
