MRS. MURPHY-- Teaching is both my career of choice and my passion. I have
spent many years in the classroom, on one side of the desk or the other, and
earned a BA in LA and SS (Hofstra U., NY), and a Master's Degree in
Education, along with my Teaching License (Belmont U., TN.) This year I am
proud to be The Rocket's team leader and Social Studies teacher. I look
forward to getting to know each of my student's well, and helping them to
enjoy school and value learning as much as I do. camurphy@wcpss.net
Mrs. Boriotti--I am very excited to join the Rocket's team! This year, I
have completed my 10th year of teaching middle school Language Arts. I
earned my B.A. in English Education from Long Island University C.W. Post,
and a Master's degree in Education from University of New York at Stony
Brook. My husband and I moved to NC in 2000 for job opportunities and a
better quality of life. When I was little I wanted to be an educator. I
have followed my dreams and aspirations and consider myself privileged to
teach at HMS. We are going to have fabulous year together!

Mrs. Holland--Welcome to the Rockets Science Class! I am thrilled to be
living in North Carolina and teaching at Heritage Middle School again this
year! I am originally from Toccoa, GA. I earned my B.S. in Biology from
North Georgia College and State University in the small town of Dahlonega,
GA and completed teacher certification courses there, also. We are going to
have an excellent year filled with a variety of activities, labs, and
projects! I look forward to having you in my class!

Mrs. Rooker-- This is my fourth year teaching at Heritage Middle School.
Since I was at Durant
Middle School for many years, I have a lot of experience in the year round
program. I have a BS in
secondary mathematics from Marywood University in Pennsylvania. I love to
teach math.
I am thrilled to be on the rocket team, and to be teaching 8th graders. We
have a great team, and I
