This course is designed to offer students an introduction to US History.
Students will become familiar with the major events and people that have
influenced the development of our nation. We will emphasize the WHY, not
just the WHAT and WHO, and we will use this knowledge to analyze the world we
live in today. In the end I hope that we will discover some answers to the
question: Why do I need to know this stuff?
