When is tutoring?

Thursdays from 3:45 to 4:45 PM.

When will progress reports be distributed?

Progress reports will be distributed every Friday. Reports are to be returned 
on the following Tuesday.

What are the policies regarding late work or missed assignments?

Homework- If a student has an excused absense from class, the missed 
assignment is to be submitted the day after the student returns. If a student 
has missed multiple days, the teacher and student will work out a schedule.

Quizzes/tests- Students have one week to make up any missed quiz or test.

Major assignments (ex. project, essay)- Students will have one day after the 
due date to turn in the assignment; after that point the assignment may not 
be submitted. Assignments submitted late will receive a 10 point deduction.

How are grades determined?

Grades are broken down into four or five categories depending on the grading 
period:
1st nine weeks:
Homework/classwork- 20% of total grade
Testes- 20% of total grade
Quizzes- 20% of total grade
Papers/projects- 25% of total grade
Midterm- 15% of total grade

2nd nine weeks:
Homework/classwork- 25% of total grade
Testes- 25% of total grade
Quizzes- 25% of total grade
Papers/projects- 25% of total grade

Can students retake a test or a quiz?

No; however, the teacher reserves the right to make exceptions.

What is the tardy policy?

Beginning the second week of school, the tardy policy is as follows:
1st tardy- reminder of time that class begins
2nd tardy- a longer reminder of time that class begins
3rd tardy- 30 minute detention/ contact parent(s)
4th tardy- same as 3rd plus referrral to Dean

Is there a weekly scheudle?

Yes. The first day of each school week, students will receive a weekly 
schedule that details both class work and homework
