The Laney wrestling team just completed another successful season in 2007-
08. The team finished the dual meet season with a 25-6 overall record and
their 4th consecutive undefeated Conference season at 6-0. They also won the
Mid-Eastern Conference Championship, finished 2nd in the Eastern 4A
Regionals, and 11th in the Individual 4A State Championships. Two wrestlers
finished in the top 3 at the State Championships. J.C. Wagner finished 2nd,
and Frank Hickman finished 3rd in the State. We are currently having off-
season practices on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:30 in the Laney
Wrestlign Facility.
