About The Teacher

I have been teaching EC classes for 17 years.  The last 10 years have been 
here at Laney teaching classes that prepare students for the real world of 
work.

I have high expectations for all students.  I expect all students to do their 
best.

Parent support is very important to student success.

Please understand that the Occupational Course of Study is not going 
to prepare your son/daughter for college.  

The preparation that we do in this course of study is to prepare them 
for the real world and as part of that world.....a job or 
career.....which is my part of the curriculum

Please keep in mind that it is important to assist your son/daughter 
to become the best employee that they can be, and that is what I 
strive for. 

 As you are aware, in the real world of work there are more demands 
and responsibilities put on students then they will see or experience 
in the classroom.  That is why I expect more from them on a daily 
basis and as they progress through each year until graduation.  I am 
preparing them for the work ethics and attitudes that they will have 
to perform for an employer so they are able to obtain and maintain 
competitve paid employment to become as independent as possible.
