Students are provided time at the beginning of each class to copy their
homework onto their "Homework Trackers." If no homework is assigned, students
should have the word "none" written on their tracker.
Parents, if your student has difficulty recording homework assignments,
require the student to have their tracker signed each day by the teacher. If
organization is a problem (your child does the HW but can't find it to turn
it in) encourage the student to stay after school on tutoring day (Tuesdays)
and I will help the student find and manage a solution.
For grading purposes, homework will count as 20% of the grade for 1st quarter
and 25% of the grade for 2nd quarter.
Homework can be:
- collected and graded for correctness.
- collected and graded for completion.
- reviewed but not collected or graded.
