I graduated from UNCW in 1990 with a B.A. in English and certification in
Secondary Education. I have been teaching for seventeen
years; I have taught at Jones Senior, Havelock, Jacksonville, and Laney. I
have two sons and we have a cocker-spaniel named Putter.
My goal is for each student to appreciate the insight litearature provides
into life. I want students to leave Laney with a better understanding of his
or her responsibilities as a member of society.
