Is there in an EOC for this course? What are the requirements for the EOC for graduation?
Civics and Economics has an End of Course Test developed by the State of North Carolina. Students must be proficient(score a level 3 or 4) in order to earn credit towards graduation. The final makes up 25% of the student's final grade and is not scored by me but by the state. If a student doesn't receive a proficient score on the EOC but passed the course, they will need to submit a portfolio of work showing their proficiency with the material. This portfolio is developed by the student throughout the semester and is why theyshould not throw away notebooks or work until after they are sure they received credit for the course.Back to Top
