Parent Education Programs 2009-2010
This year I am excited to offer something new with our Parent Education
Workshops. I know that most parents want to be involved and receive
resourceful information to help their child be successful at school.
However, sometimes work schedules prevent that from being possible. So, now
we have time that will hopefully be accomodating for you all. I am
presenting: "Learning at Lunch" These parent workshops will run from 12:00-
1:00 pm. There will be light refreshments provided or feel free to bring
your lunch, as well.

Parent Workshop #1 "Light the Motivational Fire" - Explore the varying
degrees of structure in the motivational process, with the goal of creating
independent learners.

Parent Workshop #2 "Helping Your Child Perform Better on State Tests"-Help
move your children from stress to success on standardized state tests by
helping them learn smart test-taking strategies.
