Holly's Harps is a hands-on music program which brings 30 harps into the school. Holly's Harps encourages students to view music and other arts as integral parts of their lives. Children learn about music, explore scientific principles (sound, vibrations, resonators, instrument construction, relation of string length to pitch), link music to math (Practice counting, ratio, pattern, and sequencing skills), and enjoy hands-on music-making. http://www.hollys-harps.org/

1. Demonstrations of full songs, a cappella style excerpts, vocal instruments, a cappella arrangements, and each voice part in the vocal band style
2. Call and response during songs
3. A vocal drumming lesson where we teach the students how to make common vocal percussion sounds using their mouths and voices
4. A Q+A session where the students get to ask questions about our band and a cappella music
5. We encourage the students to sing along with a couple of the songs that they might know. http://www.transitvocalband.com/
