For the Week of February 10th
* Thank you so much for all of the very thoughtful cards, beautiful flowers,
classroom supplies, yummy snacks, and gifts during Teacher Appreciation Week!
*Students did such a fantastic job of creating and presenting their Biography
Book Floats!! The book floats are on display in the Media Center.
* Students who plan to exchange Valentines should plan on sending one to
everyone in the class. They may start bringing them in on Monday. Special
thanks to the Cyphers and Trainers for providing the Valentine Snacks/Drinks.
* This Friday, February 17th is an Early Release Day. Dismissal begins at
12:30PM
* Special thanks Mrs. Micchia for doing a Character Ed lesson about Respect!
* Continue to practice multiplication facts each evening! I am seeing a big
improvement! Please take time to check out this website: Multiplication
Madness. The link is the last one under Math Facts Practice on the class
website. Students can study, take timed tests, print a progress report.
* I am in the process of selecting a date for the Spring Plays. If you know
that you will not be here any day during the week of March 19th, please let
me know as soon as possible. The 23rd is the last day of the quarter and it
is an Early release Day. We may plan on presenting the plays that day. I will
let you know the date and time soon so that you can mark your calendars. This
will be an event you won't want to miss.
* Our class will be doing a math activity using conversation hearts. We are
in need of 23 boxes of conversation hearts. Please let me know if you are
able to donate some. Thanks!
