For the Week of November 9-13
* Reading Club - Students need to show parents their Mystery Reading Club
assignment sheet and get a signature. Follow directions for the fourth week
on timeline. There will be supplies in the classroom to make skeletons.
Skeletons need to be made at home. Presentations will take place in our
classroom this Friday. Last names beginning with A - I will present at 9:45AM
and Last names beginning with M-Z will present at 2:00PM.
Students should be able to tell about the skeleton- NOT read each card to the
class. They should practice their presentation which should last about 2-3
minutes.
* Read 20 minutes and get log signed only Monday and Tuesday nights. Students
should practice Reading Club Presentation on Thursday night.
* Word Study - One assignment from the Think Tac Toe Menu Monday and Tuesday
night. Study words on Thursday night - no written assignment due on Friday.
* Math - packet due on Friday
Reading - read nonfiction article and practice doing a retell using the
bookmark. (this may be done as the 20 minute reading assignment)
