What are the school hours?

Students may enter the classroom at 8:00.  School is from 8:20am-
3:00pm-Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Wednesday's schedule is 8:20am-2:00pm

What time is lunch?

All kindergarten students eat lunch from 12:30-1:00.

Can I eat lunch with my child?

Please give the students and I a couple of weeks to adjust to the 
lunch routine.  Also, if your child has a difficult time 
seperating in the morning, please do not come to eat lunch with 
them yet...this will just make another difficult transition for 
them.  Thank you.  In August, just remember to sign in at the 
office and you can meet us in the cafeteria or by the office.

Can I volunteer at school?

Yes!!  Please do.  Before you can work with the students, you 
must fill out the online volunteer application.  This can be done 
in our computer lab during school hours or before/after school. I 
will also make this available during Open House.  Once you have 
been approved, you may sign up with me to volunteer.  I have 
volunteers daily from 9:20-
10:00am.  I would also like to have a lunch room volunteer to 
watch our class daily from 12:30-1:00 pm.

What can I do to help my child?

READ, READ, READ!!!!  Read to your child every day.  If your 
child is bringing home baggie books, listen to them read every 
night.

Can I send in any snack or treat?

Please only send in store bought items.  Remember that we have 21 
hungry little children in the morning.  Please remember your 
snack day!!!  Thank you.

What field trips will our class take this year?

Our class will be going on 4 field trips this year.  October-
Vollmer Farms, January-Marbles Musuem, April-Wakefield shopping 
area/McDonalds, May-Blue Jay Park.
