Yellow Stars are the goal!! [3]
• Everyone starts the day with a yellow star. If student remains on
yellow that means that the students was staying on task, obeying the rules &
showing good character.
Red Star means a warning was given [3]
• Warning was given & a reminder to obey the rules. If nothing else is
marked, that is all that was needed!
** If a student continues to make poor choices, they must then put up a
picture. Each picture represents the rule they were not obeying and is
reported daily on their weekly behavior chart.
Here’s what the pictures represent:
Lips: Noises/Talking
Hand: Not keeping hands/feet/things to self
Turtle: Too slow to obey (disobedient)
Bear: Too gruff (disrespectful)
If a student pulls 1-2 pictures, the daily grade will be a 2. If the student
pulls more the 2 pictures, the daily grade will be a 1. If students pull 3
or more pictures, parents will be called. The student may also be sent to
the office to speak with Mr. McCabe and Ms. Smith.
