Can I send a bag breakfast/lunch instead of buying the school's meal?

Yes, as long as the bag meals are nutritionally balanced according to NC
Division of Child Development (NC Childcare Licensure).

Breakfast
milk, juice or fruit, & bread or cereal (all 3 components)

Lunch
milk, 2 or more fruits or vegetables, meat or meat alternative, bread or
bread alternative(all 4 components)

Bag meals must meet the requirements listed above. If a lunch does not meet
the requirements that are defined by NC Childcare Licensure (Rule .0901) we
will have to supplement the meal from the cafeteria and add the cost to the
students account.

Please make sure each food item is labeled with your child's name and the
date.

Can I park & pick my child up in the afternoons instead of using the car line?

Yes, please arrive at 1:30, park in the designated area at the far end of
the parking lot by the front of the school to eliminate you having to cross
in front of cars in the car pick-up line. Come to the front of the school
and your child's teacher will release him/her to you.

Please do not use this time to conference with your child's teacher since
she will need to listen for other children's names being called for the car
pick-up line.
