This is my 19th year of teaching. I have been in pre-k for 13 years. This
is my 5th year working with preschoolers with multiple disabilities. We had
the pleasure of transferring our classroom to open North Forest
Pines when the school opened in 2007. We Love It Here!
I am a graduate of East Carolina University with an undergraduate degree in
education and a teaching certification in special education. I have a
Master's of Arts in Education with a certificate in Learning Disabilities. I
obtained my birth-kindergarten license through UNC.
I am married to Scott for 15 years now. We have two beautiful little boys
named Joseph "Joey" age 8 and David age 6 1/2. I also have a lovely little 2
year old cocker spaniel named Maggie May. I am originally from Henderson,
NC. I lived in Youngsville for 5 years and have been in Wake Forest for the
past 8 1/2 years.
I have a wonderful team here at NFP. I have been working with Tracie Teres
for 5 years. We work so good together!
EVERYONE CAN LEARN! We push our students to their limits because we know
that they have a lot to share!
