Study Island is a computer program that helps students strengthen 
their academic weaknesses by challenging them to work on specific 
objectives and engaging them through games. In order to gain 
access each student must sign on using their individual password.

students can use to find out more about a particular topic.  It's 
much like using an on-line encyclopedia.

videos just for kids!  It is offered by Scholastic at a cost.

PBS Kids

Foss Web - a website that provides various science activities for 
students to do at home.  It also provides answers to commonly 
asked questions about the Human Body.  Parents can also tap into 
the home/school connection and parent resource connection for a 
complete description of how Foss aims to help students succeed in 
Science.  Third grade students are encouraged to do the Mr. Bones 
activity located under the 3-6 Grade Activity Tab.  If your child 
LOVES science, then this site can provide many suggestions and 
activities to keep your child engaged and motivated to learn more 
about the Human Body!

practice in the following areas: number word names, place value,
