Nightly homework will consist of reading TO and WITH your child. I will also provide a monthly calendar with a variety of math activities you may do with your child to help reinforce the Kindergarten skills he/she is learning at school. Kindergarten children need to engage in hands on, active learning as much as possible so I encourage you to refer to the “Is There Homework in Kindergarten or 35 Things You Can Do at Home to Help Your Child This Year” information included in your child’s first Monday folder. At times throughout the year I will assign family projects for you to do with your child.
