Objective- Students will be able to identify and describe 3-D shapes and their properties.

Parent Summary – We will be learning about 3-D shapes in math this quarter. The purpose of this project is to use a variety of 3-D shapes to construct a castle.  I encourage the students to use recycled materials that you have at home such as paper towel rolls, boxes, and containers.  At the Castle Open House, the students will be expected to explain to the students and visitors the location of the 3-D shapes and their attributes (faces, corner, edges).
