In Miss Stucker's class we use the "Star" behavior chart.

Everyone starts their day out on a GREEN star. If a student decides to make a wrong choice,
they are given up to 3 strikes before having to change their star to YELLOW. If they continue
with the wrong type of behavior, they are again given 3 strikes and then asked to change their
star to RED. If they receive 5 GREEN stars all week, they are rewarded with a visit to the
treasure chest. If they change their star to yellow, they must walk a couple laps before being
allowed to play at recess and they lose their privilege of the treasure chest on Friday. Their
parents also receive a note as to what happened. If the student changes their star to RED, they
must walk the entire recess and their parent will receive a phone call home.
