OHS Media Center
Here's a direct link to all the card catalogs of all the Media
Centers in the Orange County School System, including OHS and

Here's a direct link to NC Wiseowl, a link to databases that house thousands
of newspaper, magazines, and journal articles.
Once inside NC Wiseowl, click on High School Zone.
Once inside the High School Zone, chose either the first tab or the third tab.
The first tab, entitled Student Research, links you EBSCO's series of
databases of newspaper, magazine, and journal articles.
The third tab, entitled, InfoTrac Student, links you to Gale's databases of
newspaper, magazine, and journal articles.
Both of these require a password you can get from Mr. Cox.

NCLive.org allows you access to several online databases via
EBSCO through the Hyconeechee Regional Library/Orange County
Public Library. To use it, you will need a library card with the
Orange County, Alamance County, Durham County, or Chapel Hill
Public Libraries. Once into this system, you can find any number
of magazine and newspaper articles as well as electronic books on
your research topic.
