It will include......general characteristics that all
arthropods share, writing the stages of complete metamorphosis and incomplete
metamorphosis, and the 5 phyla and the examples for each group. We went over
this in class.

have covered arthropods in general, crustaceans and insects so far during the

Students will have a quiz on Wednesday. We went over
the information today. They wrote down the guide questions and vocabulary for
which they will be responsible.It will be about some general information,
specific vocabulary and on the sponge and cnidarian groups.

There will be another quiz on Friday, January 27. It
will be about labeling the parts of the sponge, hydra and jellyfish. Students
already have the diagrams from previous class sessions.

description on the handout " Invertebrates - Sponges, Coelenterates adn Worms".

"Animal Symmetry". This is due tomorrow.

All 7th graders have had the opportunity in
class to write out the definitions and answer the questions that were on the
study guide for the midterm exam. Students should complete the study guide and
study from it this weekend. The study guide answers will be collected for a
completion grade on Monday prior to the midterm exam.
