                         for Children
                    Recommended Websites for
                   Children and Their Families

As always, we know that OLG parents participate in the selection
of their
childrens reading materials. With parents and children working
together,
these websites can help create appropriate age/interest lists.
Hopefully,
our students will be motivated to read more, and parents will
become more
involved in their book selection. Our goal is to create a love
of books and
reading.

Summertime Favorites, a list of recommended readings, represents
National
Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)'s long-standing effort to
highlight
classic literature for young people from kindergarten through
high school.
Thousands of parents and teachers have used Summertime Favorites
since 1988
as a supplement to school reading lists to emphasize the value of
reading
classic books.
