Middle School Parent Volunteer Opportunities

We depend on our families to make our school great! Please contact your child's homeroom teacher if you would like to volunteer. Here are some of the ways that parents help:

Grade Parent-Our Grade Parents assist the teacher personally with field trip planning, party planning, service projects, and Young at Heart lunches.

Parties-Middle School homerooms have 2 parties each year: Halloween and Christmas. They are wonderful fun! Parents help with these by planning a simple lunch and providing refreshments. In some cases, parents may also assist in the planning of a dance, games, activities, and/or crafts.

End of Year Picnic- At the end of the school year, each grade level will have a day long picnic celebration.  Parents may help by choosing a park location, making reservations for the park, organizing a lunch/cookout and refreshments, organizing activities, games, sports, and/or crafts for the day.

Clubs-We always appreciate parent assistance and participation in our clubs.  If you are interested in helping, please let the advisor know.

Drivers/Chaperones-In each class, we will go on field trips. We are in need of drivers and/or chaperones for all of them.

Dance Chaperones-Middle School dances are a great way for the kids to have social time outside of school! We depend on our parents to chaperone so that we can sponsor these great dances.

Sports-See Mr. Kinlaw, Athletic Director, if you are interested in helping with athletics.
