What is done for birthdays in 1P?

On your child's bday you may send in a snack and the child may wear nice
dress down clothes. (no jeans) The snack needs to be for each individual, no
cookie cakes, cakes, or things that need cut up. Cookies, brownies, jello
cups, pudding cups, rice krispie treats, toosie roll pops, and donuts are all
great examples that we have had in the past.
If it is a summer bday your child may celebrate on their half bday.
Please contact me ahead of time in case of doubles. Thank you.

How should I get in touch with Mrs. Parent or Mrs. King?

I check emails in the classroom before school, during snack or lunch, and
after school. Notes are read in the morning by Mrs. King and given to me if
they need immediate attention or at snack if they can wait. You may also
call the school and ask to leave a message in my voice mail. Emails are the
best way to reach me in the evenings.

Snack?

Your child needs to bring a snack to school EVERY day, even on days they have
hot lunch and on half days. It is important to think healthy when planning
snacks to keep learning happening and keep sugar highs at a minimum.
