Spelling Homework Choices
Spelling Homework Choices - Choose one each night Mon., Tues. & Wed.
(All to be completed in the sp. journal and are to have the date at the top
of the page as well as the number you have completed ie: January 26, 3)
1) Two Time: write words two times each with pencil
2) UPPER/lower: write words, once in all CAPS, once in lower case
3) Rainbow Words: Write the words using a different crayon for each
letter in the word.
4) Trace the Word: write the spelling words, then trace each letter with
crayon
5) Word Steps: Write the word by writing the first letter, then first
and second and so on. [(game) g,ga,gam,game]
6) Practice Test: Have an adult give you a practice test, let the
parent grade and write a score on the page in the journal.
8) Rhyming Words: Write the spelling word and a rhyming word for
each
9) Circle and Underline: Write the word and circle the vowels and
underline the consonants.
