Principal's Corner

Dear Folks,

June is the month traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is also a time to say our goodbyes as the school year draws to a close. It has been a good year! Enrollment is on the increase and students
have proved themselves academically and athletically. Who can forget the beautiful tribute our eighth graders paid to our Blessed Mother at the May Crowning or the serenity on the faces of our second graders as they
received Eucharist for the first time. Yes, we have also grown spiritually.

As we say goodbye to our eighth graders, we also say goodbye to two long time faculty/ staff members: Mrs. Judy Gach and Mrs. Elissa Brannan. Mrs. Gach is stepping down from full-time teaching to assist in both our
second and third grade classes. We are happy to have her presence still here among us. Mrs. Brannan will be doing her student teaching elsewhere in the fall. We wish the best of luck to Mrs. B and hope that one day she will
return to our Mercy family. We are most grateful for all that she has done for our school.

Our eighth graders are moving on to high school. We wish them every blessing. May they continue to be a shining example of Christian leadership.
In this month of June and throughout the summer, we place our trust in You , Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, who loves and cares for each one of us. Happy Summer to all!
