I am origanlly from North Carolina. I have lived in the Wilmington area for
the past 6 years and have been teaching in New Hanover County all of those
years.
I began teaching third grade and moved to second grade. This is going to be
my first year as a Kindergarten teacher and I am very excited. This is also
my first year at Parsley. I know it is a wonderful school and I am looking
foward to my first year here.
I attended East Carolina University where I received a bachelor degree in
Elementary Education and a masters degree in Reading Education.
I have a wonderful husband, Scott; an adorable son, Mason; and a energetic
dog named Koey. I enjoy going to the beach, teaching, and most of all
spending time with my son. He is 16 months old and learning new things
everyday. We can't slow him down.
