Hi! This marks my 14th year in the classroom. I have taught 1st and 2nd
grade all along the way! I graduated from UNC-W with a degree in elementary
education and art. I started my career off here in Wilmington and then off
to Clayton, Raleigh, and back to Wilmington 6 years ago.
I am a wife and mom of 3...well sort of!! I have a 5 year old daughter (a
kindergartener here at Parsley), a 2 year old son who is very sweet and very
busy, and a sweet toy poodle (my first born!!)who is 9. We enjoy
spending time at the beach, swimming at the pool and visiting family.
A fun fact about me...I love to paint! I have painted many murals and
pieces of furniture! Nothing too fancy, just things that are fun and
whimsical. I actually painted a mural at the Wilmington Children's
Museum in the toddler area and will be painting another one soon in the
brand new "hospital" room at the museum!
