This is my second year at Parsley and I am enjoying it very much. We had
several successful performances this year including a fifth grade chorus
concert, kindergarten, second grade and fourth grade PTA performances and
Arts Alive. Student council will be performing at the County PTA banquet in
May and the fourth grade musical is coming up in June.
About me:
I graduated Cum Laude from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke in
Pembroke, NC. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education, K-12,
Instrumental and Vocal Studies. I have been singing in choirs since I was 5
years old,am a classically trained singer, playing the trumpet for 15 years,
and am self taught on the piano. I also enjoy musical theatre and opera. Last
summer, I bought my first home in Wilmington and am busy painting and
gardening. I am also planning my wedding for next summer.
As a music teacher, I will share my knowledge and passion for music with my
students. I will show the relationship between music and other academics
including mathematics, language arts, foreign languages, and history. Most
importantly, I promise to provide a safe, enjoyable, and educational learning
experience for my students.
