I have worked as a speech-language pathologist since 1996 and have
been employed with New Hanover County Schools since 1997. I have worked at
many schools in the county, including elementary and middle levels. Parsley
has always been my primary school, however, most school years, I also serve
another school. This year I will also be seeing speech-language students at
Myrtle Grove Middle School. Parsley opened in 2001 and I have been here
since day one. A graduate of Appalachian State University, I hold a
Master's Degree in Communication Disorders. I am licensed by the American
Speech-Language, Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competence),
the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and
Audiology, and by the North Carolina State Board of Education (NC Department
of Public Instruction).
Our mission is to maximize individual communication potential through
effective use of speech and language skills.
