teaching kindergarten for three years and second grade for two years.
In 1995, she and her husband, Tom, decided to relocate to Wilmington.
Mrs. Dixon first obtained a third grade teaching position at Sunset Park
Elementary. She then transferred to Pine Valley and taught first grade
for a year then second grade for six years. When Tyler, her eldest son, was
in first grade, she chose to transfer schools one more time to be able to
teach in the fine school he attended (Parsley!!). Now Tyler is beginning
middle school and her youngest son, Ryan, is in second grade at Parsley.
Mrs. Dixon is a National Board Certified Teacher.
Mrs. Dixon's first grade class will provide an environment in which ALL
