I feel extremely blessed to be working at Pleasant Union with such wonderful
parents and students. This will be my 12th year. I moved here from
Pennsylvania where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for several years. Before that
I taught 1st and 2nd grade in Texas for 8 years. I graduated from Texas Tech
University and received my masters from Texas A&M.
My husband Chris is a mortgage banker. We recently celebrated our
32th anniversary. We have 3 sons Brandon, Jordan, and Austin. Our oldest
son is married and lives in Pennsylvania with his wife Patti and our precious
granddaughters Tiffany and Sydney, and a little boy due any day now. Jordan
has moved back to Raleigh after working on the west coast for the past few
years. Our youngest son has joined the Air Force Reserves and will finish up
his last year of college at ECU. Our extended families are all still in
Texas, our home state. (That's where the western theme originated!)I am
looking forward to getting to know you and working
with your families this year!
