Report Cards are heading your way today! They are in the Green Communicator. Please look it over (keep it). Please sign and write any comments on the Purple Signature Sheet and place it back in the Report Cover to be returned in the Communicator. (Worth 50 Hurrah Cards if returned by tomorrow - Friday, February 03, 2012!)
...Also, please keep all graded papers at home...

We will be going on a Field Trip to the Cameron Art Museum on Wednesday, Feb. 1st. We will leave school at 12:00 and return by 2:00. Students will need to be in full-dress uniform. Our lunch time does not conflict with this trip, so please plan lunch as every other day. We are allowed two parents to chaperone. I need to know
(first-come-first-appointed) who would like to attend with us. I will base all requests by time/date of request.
We can't wait to see the exhibits!

Please look in your child's Homework Folder for some very important information about our students providing Community Service throughout our Catholic Schools Week, starting today!
Our School Goal is... 400 hours! The committee is asking each student to perform at least one hour, have it documented on the form and even add a picture, if possible. I know our fourth grade class can do that and more.
Plus...for every one hour of Community Service, my students will receive 2 hours of Reading on their Reading Log.

Praise and Glory!
We have been approved to go on our first Field Trip of the year. And what a glorious one, at that. 
We will be going to the Tileston Outreach Center and Touring St. Mary's Church, Wilmington's very own Shrine!
We will be going on December 14th, leaving at 10:30 and returning by 2:00.
Please look for Permission Slips to arrive home on Friday, December 9th.
Sister Isaac has asked us if it would be possible to donate a few needed items for the Outreach Center...Soaps, Shampoo, Toothpaste, and/or Toothbrushes.
I know that that Wednesday is also the Gifting Mass, so, please, do not extend yourselves. Just know that I told her we would do all that we could to help!
This is a wonderful experience for all. Please let me know if you are interested in being one of our chaperones!

Our Thanksgiving Basket is ready to be filled! And your children have volunteered their generosity with the following items.
We are still asking for our students to do small chores around the house to
earn "change" to add to our Turkey Jar! Your children have been so generous 
kind with their donations, so far!
