Mrs. Schmid has been an Elementary School Teacher for over twenty-five
years. The majority of her classroom experience has been in Fourth Grade
(her true passion), yet, has also enjoyed teaching children in every grade
from First to Fifth.
She holds a BS in Elementary Education (K - 5) and is also certified to teach
Language Arts (6 - 9) for the State of North Carolina.
She has had the opportunity of presenting workshops to teachers across the
state in the subjects of Math, Social Studies and Religion for various book
companies. She has also enjoyed providing updated training of the Reading
Renaissance Program to the teachers and staff at St. Mark Catholic School.
Mrs. Schmid has been a member of St. Mark Catholic Church for over twenty
years, and feels fortunate to have been teaching fourth grade at St. Mark
Catholic School since it opened in 2002.
She has enjoyed each and every year of her teaching experience and is glad
to be a part of the growing community of church and school.
She believes that this year, as in every year at St. Mark, is truly going to
be a great year of learning, sharing and growing in our Catholic faith.
