MATH HELP
Beginning on Thursday, September 8th, I will be available from 3:30-4:30 to
answer students' math questions. Sign up on the board outside my room. I
will walk students to the lobby at 4:30.

WELCOME BACK!
I hope to see everyone at the Open House on Wednesday, 8/24 4-6pm.
Remember to send me your completed student survey.

SUMMER PRACTICE:

1) Students can do 20 problems per day on http://www.ixl.com/math/grades for
free. Math7 students should practice 7th grade topics and Prealgebra
students should practice 8th grade topics.

2) Check out the useful math-related websites found under the "Study Guides"
tab.

3) Using the "Links" tab students can access the NC Dept of Public
Instruction's website. Students should scroll down and click on the Week by
Week Essentials for their previous grade level. There is a section
called "Keeping Skills Sharp" that would be a great way to maintain skills
over the summer.

HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE SUMMER!
