Originally from Long Island N.Y. , I moved to Burlington Vermont where I attended college. I
graduated from The University of Vermont with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Not only did I have a
passion for teaching, I also wanted to run my own business. I worked, managed and eventually owned a
skateboard and snowboard retail store for 17 years. After my business endeavor, I was able to resume
to my other passion, teaching.
My husband and two daughters ,who both currently attend St. Mark, moved to Wilmington in 2007.
We are members of the St. Mark Catholic Church and I having been teaching 5th grade here for
fours years. I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community.
I am currently highly certified by the State of North Carolina to teach kindergarten through 6th grade.
Some of my other interests include calligraphy, reading,drawing, cooking, aerobics, snowboarding, and
now surfing!
Guiding children academically, emotionally, and spiritually within a
structured learning and nurturing environment.
