I am originally from New York and moved to Wilmington almost five years
ago. I graduated in 2000 from the University of Connecticut, where I
received my Bachelor's in English. I attended UNCW for my Master's work in
Secondary English education, with additional certification in Middle Grades
Language Arts.
I have a kindergartener named Luke, who is just downstairs in Mrs. Hodges'
class. I also have a two-year-old named Brooklynn, who loves lollipops and
Dora :)
I enjoy reading and writing (of course), running, and spending time with my
family.
