I graduated from the University of Scranton where I received a BS in Chemistry
and the University of Virginia where I received a M.A. in Chemistry. I caught
the teaching bug as a teaching assistant in graduate school. After finishing
my Masters, I became a technical trainer where I taught chemistry and
technology topics at the University of Virginia and NC State University. I
then focused on teaching computer classes for Westlake Internet Training and
the Community College of Allegheny County.
After being a stay at home mom for 10 years, I felt called to teach again. I
currently have a NC License to teach Middle School math.
I am originally from Binghamton, New York and have lived all over the East
Coast. I attended Catholic schools from Kindergarten to 12th grade and chose
a Jesuit University for college. I have been happily married to my husband,
Paul, for the past 14 years. We have been blessed with two beautiful
children, John Paul and Susie, who both attend St. Mark Catholic School. We
have been active parishioners of St. Mark Catholic Church since we moved to
Wilmington in 1996.
I love to spend time in my garden, cook and scrapbook. I also enjoy traveling
to new places when I can!
