Nov. 30-Dec. 4
I hope you all enjoyed the nice, long Thanksgiving break. We are back for just three weeks before
our Christmas vacation starts, so again, we will have lots of curriculum to cover, and many special
activities during that time.
In the 3B reading group, we will read "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," and the whole class will
read "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." We'll work on some Christmas poems and have a Who Feast on
the last day of school before the holidays.
Remember the Christmas Around the World written report is due Friday, Dec. 4. Your child's day to
present their creative project will be sent home this week.
3B has Reconciliation Monday, Nov. 30 at 10 a.m. We also have a school Mass on Friday, Dec. 4.
Remember to wear the Mass uniform.
Please continue to work with your child on memorizing the multiplication facts. Our next chapter in
Math deals with very large numbers and decimals. This will be a new concept for most children. We
will continue to work on math facts, though.
During these three weeks, we will also be going to the Soup Kitchen again. We need toilet paper and
paper towel rolls for the favors we are making, so please send in whatever you can.
