In December 2011, I was awarded a Master of Library Science (School Media Coordinator) degree
through NCCU. In March of 2012, I received my School Media Coordinator teaching license from the NC
DPI. I am a member of the American Library Association (ALA), American Association of School
Librarians (AASL), and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). This is currently my
fourth year as the school librarian for Saint Raphael Catholic School.
It is our goal to provide an inviting atmosphere that encourages students to
develop a love of reading, and to learn and grow through access to the world
of information and information technology. Our goal is achieved through an
attractive collection of books, access to technology and regular
collaboration with the classroom teachers so that instruction can be enhanced.
