Mr. T's Wish List

At this time of year, students often want to give teachers gifts.
Please let me be the first to say that you do not have to do this!
If you would like to show any teacher your appreciation, the best
present we can wish for is a heartfelt card or letter telling us what
you will carry away from this class and how we have helped you. That
being said, if you would still like to give me a gift, the things I
wish for most often are the practical things that can help me out in
class, as I've listed below. While sticking a ribbon and bow on a
package of colored paper may not feel like Christmas, it will put a
huge smile on my face!

A DVD copy of Disney's Aladdin
Books: Life Lists for Teens, by Pamela Espeland; Book Crush, by Nancy Pearl
Gift cards to Target or Wal-Mart for 100 Shelf prizes or general supplies
Gift cards to Staples for paper, binders, dry-erase markers, etc.
Gift cards to Michael's or A.C. Moore for craft supplies or new stamp pads
Gift certificates to the Dollar Tree (Capital Blvd. near CiCi's Pizza)
I-tunes gift cards for Musical Monday downloads
Paper towels and/or Windex
Extra boxes of Kleenex
Colored copy paper: I use pink for Piggy Check-ups but always want other colors too
Prizes for the 100 Shelf: new stuffed animals, good books, new games -- anything you would like to win!
On a personal note, my wife and I do like gift certificates to Goodberry's or restaurants for an occasional treat!
Parents: The best gift of all may be time. Are you free to help me type, file papers, create things for the classroom, etc?
