At this time of year, students often want to give teachers gifts.
Please let me be the first to say that you do not have to do this!
If you would like to show any teacher your appreciation, the best
present we can wish for is a heartfelt card or letter telling us what
you will carry away from this class and how we have helped you. That
being said, if you would still like to give me a gift, the things I
wish for most often are the practical things that can help me out in
class, as I've listed below. While sticking a ribbon and bow on a
package of colored paper may not feel like Christmas, it will put a
huge smile on my face!

Parents: The best gift of all may be time. Are you free to help me type, file papers, create things for the classroom, etc? |
