The Silver Wolves have assembled the finest group of sixth grade teachers
you could hope to find!
Mrs. Crosse (Science) is a native of Jamaica but has taught in the US for
many years. She loves to play tennis and sing.
Mr.Tharrington (English)is born and bred in Raleigh. He likes
to read comic books and books about where words come from. His wife teaches
Spanish at NC State, and his brother teaches Math at Wakefield High, next
door. He is proud that he, his wife, and his brother are all National Board
Certified teachers.
Ms. Debose (Social Studies) is also a North Carolina native, hailing from
down east. She has one daughter, Ariana, who is a dancer/choreographer in
New York City; you may have seen her compete in the 2009 season of "So You
Think You Can Dance." Ms. Debose loves traveling, the theater, and
photography.
Mrs. Piombino (Math) comes from New York. She has three kids, including a
son here at WMS. She enjoys movies and having a good time, and loves hockey.
The Silver Wolves have established five values for ourselves, which we
call "The 5 P's of the Pod::

We will recognize and reward these values in our students and model them in
our lives as well.
