The Kindergarten have learned how to say their phone numbers and
addresses. The Kinderg�rtner's went to a field trip in Columbus. They
have learned their ABC's all the way up to B. For art they have being doing
projects. They made a tree with little stamps. Fun stuff they do is
make scarecrows. For Fire Prevention they made a poster with a person in
the house that has fire on it.
The Kindergarten went to Hy-Vee. They got to see someone make a cake.Then they
went to the Platte County Museum. They had a lot of fun there. Then they went
to the park to eat their lunch. They then went to the radio station which was
the KZ-100. The guy let them yell KZ-100on the radio. After that they went to
the Bowling Alley. Then they went to Dairy Queen and ate ice cream there.
This week they made a spinning ghost that I got to watch it was awesome. On
Nov. 2nd it is dinosaur day because they are learning the letter D. The
Kindergarten kids have been writing stories for the young authors
conference.They are done doing their letters and now they are learning how to
read like big kids. Logan says that it is fun to learn how to read! Maddy says
that it is cool how to read! Nolan says that it rocks to read! They are
learning how to add and the secret tricks to add.
They are learning how to tell time and measure with their rulers. They are
happy that they had their Christmas Party. Nolan gave Logan a John Deere
Backhoe. Logan gave Maddy a bead kit. Maddy gave Nolan a Lighting McQueen.
For art they have been making birds and bunnies in the room. They had to cut
some stuff out of the magazine and they made posters for spring. In math they
learned how to count from 100 to 200. They also have started to subtract
really large numbers. They have to jump rope ten times in 2 minutes. They have
to learn how to tie their shoes. They also have to tell the teacher what time
it is when the sub or Mrs. Vacha is there. So they have to be ready at all
times and every hour.
