I send math homework home at the end of every week. It may be a practice
sheet, flashcards, and/or and activity. It needs to be completed by your
child, preferably with a pencil, and returned to me the next school day. Make
sure your child has an appropriate environment to work in, for example, a
quiet room with no distractions. It is very important your child learn the
importance of completing homework to the best of his/her ability and returning
it promptly. Students who do not return their homework by the second school
day after it was assigned will miss a recess to complete it.
Reading homework will also be assigned. Check with your student’s reading
teacher for her policy.
