Students should record the reading they do at home each night in their agendas. Aside from this, students need to make note of a finished book in their 'reading logs' and identify the reading response they chose to complete at the end of the column. After each novel read, each child will express ideas from their novel in the form of a reading response. They may choose from several response options such as an acrostic poem, a character web, a 10 list, etc. Students will be given time to work on their reading responses in class but may work on them at home if they wish to do so.Back to Top
