I am so excited to be working as an Instructional Resource Teacher at
Rennie's River Elementary. I've been teaching full time for 12
years and I had the privilege of teaching in my home town on the Burin
Penninsula during my first two years of teaching. This will be my tenth
year as part of the Rennie's River Elementary family and I have thoroughly
enjoyed my time teaching there. I received my Education Degree at Memorial
University in 1996 and then I completed my Special Education Degree. In
2004, I received my Master of Education in Teaching and Learning. I look
forward to a wonderful year of learning together!
My goal is to address the strengths, needs, interests, and skills of all my
students. I strongly believe that all people learn in different ways and
when you focus on a child's strength, their needs diminish. I hope to
inspire and motivate my students to produce high quality, meaningful work
through diversified teaching and learning!
