Our awesome gardening club helpers such as Drake have been fundamental to the success of this project. Without them we would never be able to continue with projects such as these.

Joseph transplanting our tomato plants to bigger pots on May 7th

Our plants quickly grew too big for the original pots we housed them in. Our gardening club helpers did a great job of transplanting them into bigger pots so they could continue to grow.

This is the latest picture of our tomato plants taken on June 8th

This was the last picture taken of our plants before we moved them outside. We have been putting them out in the days to "harden them off" so that they become used to our climate. we bring them in at the end of each school day. We are looking forward to our transplant day which is happening next week.

The compost/gardening team!

Here are our super volunteers who do our weekly composting, watering and blogging. Without them we would never be able to take on the great environmental initiatives that we do.
